Change.

video

Hey guys! I'm sort of back :) I had so many thoughts that I wanted to write to accompany this post and can't think of one of them! I did, however remember to thank Mary Anne from Starlight Blog for two lovely awards: One Lovely Blog and the Icing on the Cake...I LOVE icing so this fills my heart with joy :) I'll be following the rules of said awards later in the week. I'm also working on getting the voice and motion to be in synch...one of these days soon I hope!

I hope you had a fun Halloween! We had a blast and my little Darth Vader collected several yummy pieces of candy, until he declared "I think that's enough" and then we went home and passed out treats, lol. He is quite a funny guy.

Have a great day!

  2. I have changed a lot in the past year - for the better of my person. Sometimes I think I have to celebrate that more, really remember how far I have come in a pretty short time before I just move on to the next thing I want to change. Or maybe that is just my "denial" self that doesn't feel like working on too much right now ! ;) The season of my discontent is coming soon and I am trying to put things in place to keep me well throughout the winter - things like surrounding myself with color, getting vitamin D by walking even if it is cold, setting up plans with friends to do cozy arty things so I don't get to isolated at home, etc... plus all the other yummy stuff like meditation, lots of art journaling and creative expression that I have already been doing. I am trying hard to remember the words from this weekend "Be kind with yourself when you discover the leaves of your heart are changing" - a good mantra to get me though I think !
You go girl with your positive changes ! Be kind to that beautiful self !

  4. I love what you said about not being the same person in years to come. It's not about overhaul it's about evolution. I am so glad I am not the same person I was at 20 and I know I will not be the same person I am right now in 20 years. Happy Changing Jennifer.
